Cities across Europe are eager to adopt innovative solutions developed elsewhere — but replication and transfer rarely happen automatically. The next DUT City Panel (23 October, 14:00-16:30) will focus entirely on how to move from pilots to full-scale implementation, with a special emphasis on the needs of a city wanting to replicate a solution.
Participants will hear from URBACT and the Smart Cities and Communities Lighthouse Projects on funding, success factors, pitfalls and concrete cases, and take part in interactive exchanges on what makes transfer work in practice.
Furthermore, there will be dedicated sessions of the DUT Transition Pathways: 15-minute City, Circular Urban Economies and Positive Energy Districts!
In this online workshop, we are looking forward to meeting with you to:
- discuss cities’ strategies to increase resilience in the face of climate change and related threats
- collect and reflect on your key urban challenges in the fields of mobility, energy and circularity that can be taken up in our transnational European R&I programme, and to
- co-create the priorities for applied research in the field of urban transformation processes.
➡️ Join us to explore how city-driven innovations can be replicated, scaled and embedded across Europe. The DUT City Panel invites cities that are ambitious in driving urban transformation processes towards climate-neutrality to engage with DUT and have their say in DUT’s strategic priorities.
This event is designed for city representatives in the wider DUT network and registration will be shared through newsletters and direct invitations.
