For DUT this means an opportunity to build partnerships, network and highlight the crucial role of research and innovation in impactful urban climate action.

European Commission booth:
The European Commission organises a joint presence of 26 European and international urban initiatives and projects under the heading “EU for resilient green cities” at this year’s SCEWC, showcasing Europe’s commitment to resilient, inclusive, and smart urban transformation. The Commission’s expo stand will serve as a hub for networking, knowledge exchange, and showcasing cutting-edge solutions in energy, mobility, digitalisation, and citizen engagement and DUT will once again be part of it. The booth is located in conference hall 2 location D202. If you are at the conference and have a question around DUT or just want to connect, make sure to stop by and say hello.

4 November 16:15-17:00: Conference session on the Shaping Mobility stage on the theme of: Integrated Mobility for Climate-Neutral Cities.
This session will explore how European initiatives—CIVITAS, Driving Urban Transitions (DUT), and EIT Urban Mobility—are advancing integrated, citizen-centric mobility systems that contribute to the EU Mission for 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030, emphasizing the transition toward 15-minute cities as a model for accessibility, sustainability, and urban wellbeing.

Two DUT Projects (Circular Grassroots and MAKING PEDs) will share clear, ready-to-use insights and results from their work with European cities.
