Welcome to a new episode of the Urban Lunch Talks series ‘Towards Regenerative Neighbourhoods‘. Integrating green and blue infrastructure in cities can sustain urban ecosystems and species, reduce flood risk and regulate urban temperatures. In this webinar, experts reveal what it takes to implement such initiatives and share the potential of green-blue infrastructure.

The way urban systems self-supply and regenerate resources is linked to the choices we make in urban planning. Experts and partitioners need to advocate for multifunctional spaces and highlight the added value these alternative ways of construction bring to the neighbourhood, city administration and businesses.

However, what does it take to make green roofs, restoring wetlands, and other alternative projects a widespread reality in urban planning? How can experts and practitioners make a case for green-blue infrastructure?

In this Urban Lunch Talk, we will discuss what can facilitate implementing green-blue infrastructure projects and any misconceptions or conflicting interests needed to be addressed in the process.
