DUT Call 2022: 48 Projects Suggested for Funding

The 42 funding agencies, from 27 countries, have agreed upon a list of 48 projects suggested for funding. These transnational innovation and research projects gather researchers, cities and municipalities, businesses, civil society as well as other stakeholders and are to be started in the fall of 2023.

A total of 170 eligible pre-proposals were initially submitted, of which 48 were selected for funding, resulting in a success rate of 28%.

This call welcomed a broad range of research and innovation projects addressing urban challenges to help cities in their transition towards a more sustainable economy and functioning. The challenges are grouped into three themes called Transition Pathways: 15-minute City (15mC), Circular Urban Economies (CUE) and Positive Energy Districts (PED).

The following countries are participating in this call:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, and the United-Kingdom.
