New partners: The Philippines have joined DUT Call 2026

Under this call, DOST-PCIEERD will support research and innovation projects under the DUT Transition Pathways on Positive Energy Districts (PED) and Circular Urban Economies (CUE). For the 2026 call, the Philippines will focus on the theme “Innovative Maintenance of Urban Green and Blue Spaces in Private Housing Across Different Urban Contexts.” 

Through the Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) Call 2026, DOST-PCIEERD aims to strengthen transformative research and innovation that advance sustainable urban development. By supporting projects aligned with PED and CUE, the initiative seeks to empower communities and promote inclusive, resilient, and high-impact solutions to urban challenges in the Philippines and beyond. 

Research projects may have a maximum duration of 36 months. Eligible applicants include universities, research organizations, associations, and non-government organizations (NGOs) engaged in non-economic activities.
