UVAR4US examines how urban vehicle access regulations (UVAR) contribute to net-zero, liveable, multi-functional urban spaces. Specifically, UVAR4US researches how UVARs affect mobility as well as the use of space. The project aims to produce a toolkit including an open knowledge base that describes existing UVAR solutions in urban contexts, a participation framework that describes the participatory processes behind successful UVAR-15mC implementation, and evidence-based choice support methods to identify relevant building blocks for neighbourhoods for a local context and preference. UVAR4US is supported by four Living Lab cities that all have planned UVAR implementations. Their activities, input and feedback will be used to co-create and validate the project results.
