Innovation Portfolio

The DUT Innovation Portfolio is a collection of the most promising DUT Innovations (DUTIs) coming from DUT projects and initiatives. It is a selection of innovations with potential to reach impact at scale, which aim to show how local authorities and municipalities, businesses, and citizens translate global strategies into local actions that have an impact on the ground.

The DUTIs will be presented during the last year of project implementation and can range from 

• technological innovations such as a simulation model for ensuring accessibility in cities,
• to economic innovations such as business models for shared housing,
• to social innovations such as bottom-up grassroots initiatives,
• to governance innovations such as standardised EU certification for Positive Energy Districts construction

The Innovation Portfolio will be showcased on the DUT website, starting in 2026, and will be widely promoted by DUT to enable wider impact​.
