The City Panel bridges research, policy, and practice, ensuring local needs and insights are at the core of innovation.
Target groups
City administrations, municipal officers, public service providers and authorities involved in DUT projects and urban transition agendas.
What
Participating in the DUT City Panel gives cities two main opportunities:
- Peer-to-peer learning
It provides a space for cities to discuss challenges and strategies for the implementation of the transformation process towards urban climate neutrality. This exchange lives from active exchange and sharing on specific projects and instruments by the participating cities.
- Strategic influence
It offers cities the opportunity to contribute their key needs to shape the development of DUT calls and activities. This ensures that DUT’s initiatives align with and support urban ambitions effectively.
How
The DUT City Panel brings cities together twice a year:
- Onsite meeting (spring)
Held in one of the participating cities, this in-person meeting focuses on peer-to-peer learning, discussions, and site visits to inspiring urban transition projects. Travel costs are reimbursed.
- Online meeting (autumn)
A virtual space for cities to reflect, exchange insights, and discuss pressing challenges.
